Dear Campers and Families,

We were so excited as we looked toward summer with hope Houghton’s Camps could return to offering opportunities for learning and growth of our campers.  Unfortunately, while we originally hoped that this summer would bring about a return to overnight camps, Summer 2021 will look different from our original intentions. We have decided we are unable to host overnight camps for the 2021 summer season. Instead, we will host day camps throughout the summer.

This decision was not made lightly, and was made given the significant uncertainty surrounding New York State’s ongoing COVID-19 regulations, particularly as it relates to in-camp testing, on-going masking, social distancing rules and capacity of our dining halls.

While these regulations substantially hinder overnight camps, day camps will be offered while fully maintaining health and safety protocols (as well as following all local and state Covid regulations). If you have already registered for an overnight camp, you have the option to switch to the day camp option or cancel and receive a refund. Please contact me to discuss your options.

We are grateful for your continued support and understanding through these challenging times.

Thank you,

Becca Crouch ‘96
